Our Saturday morning Youth Club takes place in Driffield from 9am-12pm during term time and over half-terms, a popular and exciting club that children and young people can enjoy away from parents and carers*.
What Happens at Dynamix?
For 3 hours on Saturday mornings Dynamix is open for fun and friendship. There are plenty of varied regular activities including crafts, sports, food and gaming, and we also have special experiences and visitors such as magicians, musicians, animal displays, dance instructors, sport specialists and trips out by coach. Check out the "About Us" page for more information.
Who We Are
Dynamix was launched in 2013 by a group of parents after the closure of the only local Saturday inclusive youth club for children and young adults. There was a real need for a social club for young disabled people, to bring them together in a community where they were welcomed, to give them something they could call their own. We have a professional staff team supported by enthusiastic and energetic volunteers at the club, led by a management committee of voluntary trustees. Dynamix is registered and accredited with East Riding Council (for) Voluntary Youth Services (ERCVYS) and became a registered charity in March 2014.
*Dynamix is a Youth Club and can't offer one-to-one support to young people, however we welcome everyone regardless of ability and ask that a dedicated carer is provided where one-to-one support is needed. We work with families and carers to find a solution that keeps the young person safe and also gives them the independence that they want at Youth Club.
